About Me

Well since it’s been a year since I’ve had this blog (can you believe it?) I’ve decided to do a quick “about me” for you guys. God bless tumblr for finding this template for me:

•  10 facts about my room.

1. There’s a messy monster that comes out at night and makes my room a mess.
2. I wanted to paint my room light blue and eveyone advised me against the blue that I chose because it looked white, but I didn’t listen and once we painted it, my walls were the perfect shade of blue.
3. I have “organized piles” of various things around the perimeter of my room.
4. There are paper cranes hanging from my window.
5. I have the best view of the mountains from my window.
6. The sun comes through my window so beautifully in the morning, it always puts me in a good mood.
7. I like to hammer nails into the wall and hang random stuff from them.
8. The digital picture frame is active again and has all my friends’ faces on it.
9. There’s a keyboard in my room.
10. I have a loft.

• 9 facts about my family.

1. Our favorite saying is, “Our family tree is full of nuts.”
2. We’re all very different, but we’re all kind of the same.
3. I have a mom, a dad, two little brothers, and a little sister.
4. Sometimes we break out in Spongebob and Julian Smith music.
5. We can never collectively agree on a movie.
6. My parents are obsessed with camping (not Lauren).
7. If you burp at the dinner table, you have to pay a quarter (trust me, it was getting out of hand).
8. Even though I love my family, they’re beginning to get on my nerves, probably just because I’m the oldest and so my parents haven’t had to deal with one of their children growing up yet and they don’t know how to handle me wanting freedom.
9. MY FAMILY IS CRAZY BUT I LOVE THEM.

•  8 facts about my pets.

1. I have a cat, Oscar. William and Moriah share another cat, Mindy. William has the fish (I forget its name). Nicholas has his dog, Kenai.
2. Oscar used to be completely insane and spaztic, but he’s mellowed out over the years.
3. Oscar is my miracle cat (the story is too long to tell in this list form).
4. Mindy is kind of cross-eyed.
5. Kenai is fat and dumb and happy.
6. We used to have a hampster that gave birth to nine babies.
7. That same hampster liked to aim and fire (aka she peed on people when they walked passed the cage. Needless to say she was possessed).
8. We also used to have two birds but we had to give them away when we moved.

• 7 facts about my school.

1. My school is awesome.
2. There’s awesome kids there.
3. The teachers are awesome.
4. I love the dresscode.
5. We have the coolest people EVER!
6. There’s a coffee shop.
7. God is doing awesome things.

1. By home town, I’m going to take that to mean where I’m currently living.
2. The sun stays up all night and hides during the winter.
3. There are countless picture taking opportunities.
4. Most of the drivers are crazy.
5. This is tourist central.
6. There’s an ocean that I love going to. There’s a mountain that I love going to. There’s a forest that I love going to.

1. My first best friend was Jessa Shinski.
2. We were best friends in like first and second grade.
3. We don’t talk anymore.
4. But we’re facebook friends, so.
5. She’s an actress at a fancy school now.

1. They’re crazy. :)
2. They’ve been married for twenty years.
3. They love me.
4. They’re trying their best to handle me growing up.

•  3 facts about myself.

1. I’m really lazy, but I’m trying to change that.
2. People think I’m innocent, and I am, but I know about most stuff—I just choose to ignore it and instead have a childlike view of the world.
3. I love staying up late and sleeping in, but I also love waking up early (when I naturally wake up and am not tired).

• 2 facts about my favorite foods.

1. If I was told that eating macaroni and cheese would cause me to die a few years earlier than if I didn’t eat it, I would still eat it.
2. I used to make homemade macaroni and cheese every wednesday for lunch.

•  1 fact about myself that I don’t show.

1. I’m really really shy around people I don’t know, but if I know you well, you get to see my crazy side (but I feel like that’s the same as a lot of people, but whatevs). Oh! And I hate hate hate talking on the phone. Unless I really really like you.
